Cast & Crew Bios

Arman Arif (he/him) — Conrad

Arman is a Political Economy student at UC Berkeley minoring in Italian Studies. His previous acting experience comes from Untitled Theater, Barestage, and CAP Studios. When he is not spilling wine on himself at the Chancellor’s house, he practices improv with his jericho! best-buddies. He wants to thank all of your open ears and minds for securing a ticket for this performance. Lastly, he needs to express the endless grit of this talented cast and crew, and hopes you all recognize their efforts the same.

Tiffany Ávila-Bastidas (she/her/hers) — Assistant Costume Designer & Makeup Designer

Tiffany Ávila-Bastidas is in her last semester at UC Berkeley and will be graduating with a B.A. in Theater and Performance Studies and History of Art this May. She holds a great passion for the performing arts, fashion, and film. She is excited to continue exploring her passion and creative interests in the near future and is looking forward to beginning her master’s degree studies at USC for Cinema and Media Studies this Fall 2026. This is one of her favorite plays, and she is immensely grateful for getting the chance to work with this incredibly talented cast and crew. Shoutout Neil! Thanks for coming and enjoy the show!

Anisa Barney (she/her) — Mash

Anisa Barney is a junior from Stockton, California majoring in Economics with a minor in Theater and Performance Studies. She most recently appeared in the TDPS production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Hermia/Peaseblossom/Snug. Other performance credits include work with Oakland Theater Project, Barestage Productions, CAP Studios, and Danceworx. Anisa is incredibly honored to be working alongside such a talented group of artists.

Sasha Chernomorsky (she/her) — Associate Director & Dramaturg

Sasha Chernomorsky has been a cornerstone of Untitled Theater since its inception, shaping its creative direction from the very start. She captivated audiences with her bold direction of Shakespeare’s Macbeth with Shakespeare in the Park and Chekhov’s The Bear, all while lending her insight as an adviser to the Board of Directors. This semester marks her triumphant return for a grand finale, serving as Associate Director and Dramaturg for Stupid Fucking Bird, before she embarks on her next adventure: pursuing a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Princeton.

Zane Danton (he/him) — Doyle Trigorin

Zane is a senior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Theater. Past roles include Outside Mullingar with ANTI and This Random World with TDPS. He is grateful to be part of this weird, wonderful show, and even more grateful for the cast and crew that put it together. He would like to thank his friends and family for forever supporting his wildest aspirations. He loves you all. Truly.

Tehya Drovetta-Scarth (she/her) — Nina

Tehya Drovetta-Scarth is in her final semester at UC Berkeley, graduating with a double major in Theater and Legal Studies. Recent credits include Marlene in Top Girls, Everybody/Evil in Everybody, and Elaine in Off-Book. Tehya also made her directing debut with TDPS’ Fall Workshop of This Random World. She is ecstatic and incredibly grateful to help bring this story to life, and would like to send a huge thank you to her fellow cast and crew, as well as her wondrous friends and family. And to all of YOU for coming!

Michael Karezin — Director

Michael is a senior majoring in Applied Math with a minor in Theater and Performance Studies. This is his sixth time producing and first time directing for Untitled Theater, but he has previously acted in productions with TDPS, Barestage Productions, Wheelock Theater, and at the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts. He also works part-time as a Flying Trapeze Catcher at Circus Center SF and invites you all to come on out sometime! He is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with this talented group of people, and for his family and friends for their unwavering support.

Leo Kearney (he/him) — Sorn

Leo Kearney is a senior double-majoring in Theater and Film. Past roles include Death in Everybody and Little Stone in Eurydice with TDPS, as well as Valentina in Casa Valentina with Evergreen Productions, Tony in Outside Mullingar with ANTI, and Mark Antony in Julius Caesar with Berkeley Shakespeare Company. He has also been on the board of Untitled Theater Company for the past three years. He would like to thank the cast, crew, and especially Michael for taking him on this journey. Enjoy the show!

Carissa Klaus (she/her) — Scenic Designer

Carissa is excited to join the crew of Stupid Fucking Bird as the scenic designer. She is a freshman majoring in Theater and Performance Studies. This is her first time scenic designing a show, and she is delighted to take on this new challenge. She would like to thank her family and her two cats for cheering her on.

Tatum Meyer (any pronouns) — Dev

Tatum is a Fall 2026 transfer student from SMC, and this is their third show at UC Berkeley. They were part of Untitled Theater Company’s The Laramie Project, as well as UC Berkeley TDPS’ A Midsummer Night’s Dream. They are very excited to be part of Stupid Fucking Bird to close out a fantastic first year at Berkeley!

Eythana Miller (she/her) — Makeup Designer

Eythana is a makeup designer and recent graduate in Political Economy. This is her first production as a lead designer after assisting on Untitled’s show last year. Outside of theatre, she has worked extensively in beauty and bridal makeup for weddings and special events. When not looking for the best natural light, you can find her knitting or riding her bike to Berkeley Bowl to shop for obscure ingredients.

Daynna Rosales (they/them) — Sound Designer

Daynna Rosales is so excited to be back working with Untitled Theater on Stupid Fucking Bird! Having started sound designing last year, they have been hitting the ball running, concurrently designing this show as well as Jump with BareStage Productions and The Grown Ups with Theater Lunatico. You might have recently seen them as Puck in TDPS’ A Midsummer Night’s Dream, or simply running around campus with their headphones in and whatever craft project they are working on this time. They sincerely hope you actually actually enjoy the show!

Maria Seiple (she/her) — Emma

Maria is a senior studying Theater and Rhetoric. Her past credits include Barestage’s Much Ado About Nothing as Don Jon and Macbeth as Witch/Lady Macduff, TDPS’ Daughters of Leda as Hades, and Untitled’s The Bear as Popova. She is also a Director of jericho! Improv, who better be in the audience! She has also directed and produced several short films, including Honey, Lamb and Thyme, I’ll Never Forget, and Nun of the Above. She is grateful her last show at Berkeley is with so many people she loves. Enjoy the show!

Isabella Shipman (she/her) — Music Director / Marketing

Isabella is a fourth-year Music and Theater & Performance Studies major and a first-time collaborator with Untitled Theater Company. When she is not helping with, performing in, or directing theater, you can find her geeking out over Dave Malloy, planning her next project, or begging to pet someone’s pet.

Jiaxiang Xu (he/him) — Assistant Stage Manager

Jiaxiang Xu is a junior exchange student majoring in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Edinburgh. This marks his first time working on a theater production at Berkeley as an ASM. He is thrilled to be part of Stupid Fucking Bird and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented team. He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he has enjoyed being part of it!

Bella Youm (she/her) — Assistant Stage Manager

Bella Youm is a first-year student majoring in Psychology with a minor in Theater. This is her first time as an ASM or being involved in theater production, and she is very excited to be part of the show. Although a bit nervous, she is ready to help create the best experience for the audience. She thanks the crew for helping her learn and hopes everyone has a great time watching.

Liliya Marie Zadeh (she/her) — Assistant Costume/Makeup Designer

Liliya is a freshman majoring in Legal Studies. She is excited to be a part of this production and work alongside the creative crew and cast.
